Building Codes

Most house plans are designed in accordance with applicable local home building codes in effect at the time of the creation of plan designs. The building codes under which house plans were designed are those in force in the designer’s local region. The customer is responsible to ensure compliance with their local building codes. Local building jurisdictions may require Lateral Analysis or other engineering services performed. These services are often best handled by those familiar with your local building codes and other requirements. Only qualified personnel should undertake any revisions to a house plan set. All structural work, notes, details, etc. are handled by truss plants and/or registered engineers to conform with local building codes. AmazingPlans.com assumes no liabilities for changes or modifications made to house plans by others.

By purchasing the minimum of a full set of House Plans you are granted the right to build that home one time only. Only the original purchaser has the right to build one home from the plans purchased, you may not rent, lease, loan, give, transfer or sell copies of the plans. A client may purchase plans for a builder to build a home for the client. Because it is illegal to create derivative works without having purchased the right to do so, even if you are planning on making extensive changes to the design, copyright laws require you to purchase a copy of the plans.

AmazingPlans.com assumes no liability for any home constructed from these plans. It is the responsibility of the purchaser/builder to verify all dimensions prior to proceeding with construction. Contractor must verify compliance with all local building codes.

It is the responsibility of the plan purchaser to obtain any and all structural analysis, engineering and specifications that may be required in the municipality in which it is to be built. AmazingPlans.com assumes no liability for any home constructed from these plans. It is the responsibility of the plan purchaser/builder to verify all lot conditions and dimensions prior to proceeding with construction. Contractor must verify compliance with all local building codes. House plans that show a photograph may have been modified from the original drawings you’ll receive. Refund and Exchange Policy
Sorry, we do not offer refunds. Exchanges can be made on some house plans within 90 days of original purchase at a 20% surcharge. Please inquire before making a purchase to see if designer follows this policy. All shipping both ways is paid by purchaser/home builder. All plans sold on the AmazingPlans.com website are provided AS IS. AmazingPlans.com disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness of purpose.
